He was arrested about 10 miles away in Mankato, where the Vikings hold training camp. The 26-year-old Robinson may face a felony charge of fleeing police and a DWI charge.

8/15/2006

Williams was activated from the physically unable to perform list and was back in practice on Monday. Coach Brad Childress had said he wasn't in good enough condition to practice after Williams missed meeting the weight the Vikings had targeted for him.

Tank Williams, min

Williams injured his knee on Saturday during practice. The Vikings strong safety had to be carted off the field after backpedaling during a seven-on-seven passing drill. He did not make contact with anyone, but fell to the ground after planting his left leg.

8/6/2006

Tank Williams, min

Minnesota Vikings coach Brad Childress said Sunday Williams will need to undergo season-ending surgery on a fractured kneecap. The Vikings strong safety suffered the injury during Saturday's practice. Williams started 57 games in four seasons with the Tennessee Titans before signing as a free agent with Minnesota in March.

7/26/2006

Dwight Smith, min

The Minnesota Vikings agreed Tuesday to a contract with Smith, a sixth-year NFL veteran who was released by the New Orleans Saints last week. Smith is expected to compete with free agent signee Tank Williams for a starting safety spot next to Darren Sharper.

7/19/2006

Ryan Cook, min

The Vikings agreed to terms Wednesday on a four-year contract with Cook, one of two second-round draft picks in 2006. A former New Mexico standout who was a three-time first team All-Mountain West Conference selection, Cook can play center and guard. He was taken with the 51st overall choice.

7/18/2006

Cedric Griffin, min

The Vikings on Tuesday agreed to terms on a four-year contract with Griffin, one of their three second-round draft picks.

6/21/2006

Troy Williamson, min

Williamson practiced for the first time in more than two months on Tuesday after being sidelined with a skin abscess on his left hip that required surgery. The Vikings' wide receiver was cleared last Friday and is now trying to get back in shape and make up for the time he lost during his recovery. Williamson was participating in Minnesota's first minicamp in April when he developed the abscess, which stemmed from third-degree burns he sustained as a child.

5/18/2006

Billy McMullen, min

The Philadelphia Eagles traded McMullen to the Minnesota Vikings for rookie free-agent receiver Hank Baskett on Thursday. A third-round draft pick in 2003, McMullen never really found a steady role in Philadelphia with 22 catches for 294 yards and one touchdown in three seasons. The wide receiver will be reunited with news Vikings coach and former Eagles offensive coordinator, Brad Childress, and quarterback Mike McMahon in Minnesota.

4/26/2006

McMahon will back up Brad Johnson for the Minnesota Vikings, after signing a two-year contract worth $2 million.

3/21/2006

Steve Hutchinson, min

The Seahawks failed to match the $49 million, seven-year contract offered by Minnesota to Hutchinson, meaning the All-Pro left guard is now a Viking. Hutchinson immediately shores up a Minnesota line that struggled to protect the quarterback this season.

3/20/2006

Mike McMahon, min

The Eagles have chosen Koy Detmer over McMahon to back up Donovan McNabb at quarterback. The Eagles cut McMahon, a former Detroit Lions and Rutgers University quarterback, and will go with Detmer.

Robinson signed a three-year extension worth $12.7 million, including $5.5 in guaranteed bonuses, with the Vikings. The deal includes a team option after the first season.

Chester Taylor, min

The Minnesota Vikings made two moves that they hope will boost their running game. They signed former Baltimore Ravens running back Chester Taylor to a four-year deal worth $14.1 million, including a guaranteed $5.6 million. The Vikings also signed Seattle Seahawks' All-Pro guard Steve Hutchinson to an offer sheet worth $49 million over seven years. This might be too pricey for the Seahawks to match, considering Hutchinson's cap number will be $13 million for 2006.

2/26/2006

Jason Whittle, min

New York said goodbye to Whittle on Saturday, releasing the offensive lineman who spent six of his seven NFL seasons with the Giants. Whittle started all 16 games, 15 at left guard and one at center, for the Giants in 2004, but played primarily on special teams in 2005.

2/23/2006

Steve Hutchinson, min

The Seattle Seahawks tagged Hutchinson their transition player

The Vikings' rookie punter finished sixth in the NFL and second in the NFC with a 44.1-yard gross average this season. He injured the knee against the Detroit Lions on Dec. 4 and played through pain for the final three weeks of the season.

1/1/2006

Marcus Robinson, min

Robinson missed a couple of practices with the flu this week, but he managed to return to practice on Friday. Still, the Vikings' wide receiver may not play on Sunday. "We'll see," coach Mike Tice told the St. Paul Pioneer Press. "I've got a couple decisions to make based on (the fact that) I'm not going with six O-linemen again."

12/27/2005

Mike McMahon, min

Despite his dismal 50.0 passer rating this season, McMahon will get the starting nod in Sunday's season finale against the Washington Redskins, according to Eagles head coach Andy Reid. The quarterback, who has been filling in for the injured Donovan McNabb, has the advantage over Koy Detmer, primarily due to his mobility.

12/24/2005

Jermaine Wiggins, min

Wiggins was able to practice on thursday, although he was limited. Listed as questionable with an ankle injury, Mike Tice said the tight end is expected to play on Sunday night when Minnesota faces the Baltimore Ravens.

12/22/2005

Jermaine Wiggins, min

Wiggins was no longer wearing a protective boot on his left foot, and he was able to work out with the Minnesota Vikings on Wednesday, albeit on a limited basis. The tight end currently is listed as questionable for Sunday's meeting with the Baltimore Ravens, due to a sprained ankle. He might be a game-time decision.

12/20/2005

Jermaine Wiggins, min

Wiggins almost certainly will be limited in practice this week after showing up to the Vikings' practice facilities on Monday with a protective boot on his left foot. The tight end is nursing a sprained ankle, an injury suffered in Sunday's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

12/15/2005

Mike McMahon, min

McMahon was able to make it through the Eagles' practice on Wednesday, and at this point, it appears he will be under center for Sunday's matchup with the St. Louis Rams. The quarterback is nursing a strained hip flexor and bruised knee, according to head coach Andy Reid, but is listed as probable on the injury report.

12/13/2005

Mewelde Moore, min

Moore, who has been nursing ankle and quadriceps injuries over the past couple of weeks, has lost his job as the Vikings' starting tailback, according to head coach Mike Tice. The running back will compete with rookie Ciatrick Fason for backup duties behind Michael Bennett, and he'll also remain as the team's primary punt returner.

12/12/2005

Mike McMahon, min

McMahon likely will be limited in practice this week, due to the injuries he suffered in Sunday's overtime loss to the New York Giants. The Eagles' quarterback, who went 14 of 32 for 190 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions, is nursing a strained hip flexor and bruised knee, according to head coach Andy Reid. He was sacked six times and lost a fumble.

Mewelde Moore, min

Moore saw limited action in Sunday's win over the St. Louis Rams, posting just one rush and a single punt return -- he failed to gain any yardage on either -- along with one catch for seven yards. According to head coach Mike Tice, the running back was nursing a quadriceps injury, so the team decided to hand over the bulk of the rushing load to Michael Bennett.

12/9/2005

Dez White, min

The Falcons placed White on season-ending injured reserve with a sprained knee. The receiver, who had plummeted down the depth chart after beginning the year in the starting lineup, had been inactive for four of the last six games.

Fred Smoot, min

Although he won't be in the starting lineup, Smoot is slated to return to action in Sunday's meeting with the St. Louis Rams. The Vikings' cornerback originally was diagnosed with a sprained shoulder after going down against the Carolina Panthers on October 30. He then aggravated the problem a week later in a win over the Detroit Lions and further tests revealed a broken collarbone. He has been sidelined since.

Laroni Gallishaw, min

Nursing a high ankle sprain suffered in last weekend's victory over the Detroit Lions, Gallishaw has been placed on injured reserve by the Minnesota Vikings. The cornerback, who will miss the rest of the season, will be replaced on the roster by Ukee Dozier.

Ukee Dozier, min

The Minnesota Vikings have promoted Dozier from their practice squad, filling the roster spot of fellow cornerback Laroni Gallishaw, who will miss the rest of the season with a high ankle sprain. The undrafted rookie has yet to appear in a regular-season NFL game.

12/8/2005

Mewelde Moore, min

Limited to just one carry by a sprained right ankle in last weekend's win over the Detroit Lions, Moore was back in action with the Vikings on Wednesday, and he currently does not appear on the team's injury report. Barring any setbacks, he is expected to return to the starting lineup for Sunday's battle with the St. Louis Rams.

12/7/2005

Mike McMahon, min

McMahon will remain under center for Sunday's matchup with the New York Giants, according to Eagles head coach Andy Reid. The veteran quarterback, who has been filling in for the injured Donovan McNabb, was pulled from Monday night's loss to the Seattle Seahawks after going 4 of 10 for 61 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions, both of which were returned for touchdowns.

12/6/2005

Darren Bennett, min

Bennett has signed with the Minnesota Vikings and will handle the team's punting duties while regular starter Chris Kluwe recovers from a sprained ankle. The 40-year-old veteran, a two-time Pro Bowler, has appeared in 159 games in his NFL career, averaging 43.5 yards per boot.

Mike McMahon, min

Starting in place of the injured Donovan McNabb, McMahon struggled in Monday night's loss to the Seattle Seahawks before being benched in favor of backup Koy Detmer. Prior to getting the hook, McMahon completed just four of his 10 pass attempts for 61 yards and threw two interceptions, both of which were returned for touchdowns. According to head coach Andy Reid, the Eagles have not decided on a starter for their next game.

Chris Kluwe, min

According to Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Tice, Kluwe will be forced to miss Sunday's matchup with the St. Louis Rams after spraining his ankle in last weekend's win over the Detroit Lions. The team will audition temporary replacements this week.

12/5/2005

Koren Robinson, min

Robinson recently won a spot in the Minnesota Vikings' starting lineup, and in Sunday's win over the Detroit Lions, he took full advantage of the added playing time. The receiver, who was limited to special-teams duties earlier this year, hauled in four passes for a season-high 148 yards, including an 80-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter.

Mewelde Moore, min

Moore started Sunday's matchup with the Detroit Lions, but sprained his right ankle early in the contest and was limited to just one carry -- a six-yard loss. The running back, who was replaced in the backfield by veteran Michael Bennett, will be re-evaluated on Monday to determine the extent of the injury.

12/4/2005

Troy Williamson, min

Williamson will be inactive for Sunday's matchup with the Detroit Lions. The rookie receiver, who was the seventh overall pick in this year's draft, currently is buried on the team's depth chart behind Travis Taylor, Koren Robinson, Marcus Robinson and Nate Burleson.

12/2/2005

Chester Taylor, min

Taylor continues to be listed as questionable on the Baltimore Ravens' injury report, but after making it through Friday's practice unscathed, he is expected to see some action in Sunday's tussle with the Houston Texans. Nursing a sore ankle, the running back was unavailable for last weekend's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

12/1/2005

Paul Edinger, min

As a precautionary measure, Edinger is not expected to practice with the Vikings on Friday, due to some soreness in his foot. However, the ailment is considered minor, and he plans to handle the team's kicking duties in Sunday's tussle with the Detroit Lions.

11/30/2005

Ben Leber, min

Leber will be forced to undergo surgery to correct the foot problem that has prevented him from playing in the Chargers' last two games. As a result, the linebacker has been placed on injured reserve by the club, officially bringing his 2005 campaign to an end. He finishes the season with 22 tackles and two sacks in nine contests.

Chester Taylor, min

According to Baltimore Ravens head coach Brian Billick, the team is optimistic that Taylor will be ready for Sunday's matchup with the Houston Texans. The tailback, who missed last week's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals with an ankle injury, will test things out at practice over the next couple of days before a final decision is made. At this point, he has been listed as questionable.

11/28/2005

Brad Johnson, min

Johnson tossed a season-high three touchdown passes in Sunday's victory over the Cleveland Browns. The veteran quarterback, who finished the contest 19 of 28 for 207 yards and an interception, has led the Vikings to four consecutive victories since taking over as the starter for the injured Daunte Culpepper.

Marcus Robinson, min

Robinson hauled in just three passes for 32 yards in Sunday's win over the Cleveland Browns, but he made the most of the opportunities, finding the end zone on each catch. Going into the contest, the Vikings' receiver had just two touchdowns in his previous 10 games this season.

Kevin Williams, min

According to Minnesota head coach Mike Tice, further tests have revealed that Williams has a second-degree sprain of his right knee. The defensive tackle, who suffered the injury in the first quarter of Sunday's win over the Cleveland Browns, is expected to miss at least the next two weeks. The Vikings likely will turn to rookie C.J. Mosley to fill the void in the starting lineup.

11/27/2005

Koren Robinson, min

While Nate Burleson will be back for the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, CBS is reporting that Robinson will start at wide receiver ahead of Burleson. Robinson has made a few big plays the last two weeks, catching four passes for 95 yards in wins over the New York Giants and Green Bay Packers.

Chester Taylor, min

CBS is reporting that Taylor will be out with an ankle injury on Sunday. The Baltimore running back will sit and Jamal Lewis will be in line for most of the carries when the Ravens face the Bengals in Cincinnati. In eight games this season, Taylor has run for 300 yards on 67 carries. His only touchdown was a reception. He has 30 catches for 207 yards.

11/22/2005

Mewelde Moore, min

As anticipated, Moore returned to the Vikings' starting backfield for Monday night's matchup with the Green Bay Packers after being limited to special-teams duties in the team's last game, due to a sprained right wrist. The running back looked to be fully recovered from the injury, rushing for 122 yards on 22 carries and adding two catches for 16 yards. He also averaged 8.0 yards on five punt returns.

11/21/2005

Mike McMahon, min

Making his first start since 2002, McMahon completed 18 of his 39 pass attempts for 298 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Sunday's 27-17 loss to the New York Giants. The Eagles' quarterback, who has replaced the injured Donovan McNabb, also rushed for 31 yards and a score on nine carries.

Chester Taylor, min

Due to Jamal Lewis' continued struggles, Taylor is expected to get more carries going forward, according to Ravens head coach Brian Billick. Serving as Lewis' backup this season, Taylor has rushed for 300 yards on 67 carries, while also hauling in 30 passes for 207 yards and a touchdown.

11/18/2005

Mewelde Moore, min

Moore got his regular reps in practice on Thursday and reported no problems with the right wrist he sprained nearly two weeks ago. The Vikings' running back, who was limited to special-teams duties last weekend as a precautionary measure, is slated to return to the starting backfield for Monday night's divisional matchup with the Green Bay Packers.

11/16/2005

Mike McMahon, min

With Donovan McNabb is expected to miss at least Sunday's matchup against the New York Giants with a groin injury and sports hernia, McMahon will step into the Eagles' starting lineup, according to head coach Andy Reid. The 26-year-old quarterback last started a regular-season NFL contest in 2002 as a member of the Detroit Lions. He will be backed up by Koy Detmer.

Richard Angulo, min

The Minnesota Vikings have filled the roster spot of injured fullback Moe Williams by promoting Angulo from their practice squad. The tight end appeared in six games with the St. Louis Rams in 2003, but has yet to record a catch in a regular-season NFL contest.

Ciatrick Fason, min

With Moe Williams out for the season after undergoing knee surgery this week, Fason should see more time in the Vikings' backfield going forward. The rookie running back, who was a fourth-round pick in this year's draft, is expected to take over as the team's primary short-yardage back.

11/15/2005

Chester Taylor, min

After missing practice because of personal reasons last week, Taylor was limited to special-teams duties in Sunday's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The running back is slated to resume his role as the Ravens' third-down back this weekend.

11/14/2005

Mewelde Moore, min

The Minnesota Vikings decided to limit Moore to special-teams duties in Sunday's victory over the New York Giants, as they didn't want to risk him carrying the ball extensively with a sprained right wrist. The running back was replaced in the lineup by Michael Bennett, who picked up just 16 yards on 19 rushes, along with a lost fumble.

11/11/2005

Mewelde Moore, min

Moore's sprained right wrist has improved over the past couple of days, and he has been practicing without any major problems this week, albeit with a protective brace on his hand. The Vikings' running back plans to be available for Sunday's matchup with the New York Giants, but since he's still a bit limited, it's likely that he will split carries with Michael Bennett.

11/9/2005

Fred Smoot, min

Further tests have revealed that Smoot has a broken right collarbone, an injury that will keep him sidelined for the next 4-6 weeks, according to Vikings head coach Mike Tice. The cornerback originally was diagnosed with a sprained shoulder after going down against the Carolina Panthers on October 30, then aggravated the problem in last Sunday's win over the Detroit Lions. He has 34 tackles and an interception in eight games this season.

11/8/2005

Ken Irvin, min

Irvin has been released by the Minnesota Vikings, opening a spot on the roster for quarterback J.T. O'Sullivan, who signed with the team on Tuesday. Seeing limited action this season, the veteran cornerback notched 10 tackles in seven games.

J.T. O'Sullivan, min

With starter Daunte Culpepper out for the season with a knee injury, the Minnesota Vikings have signed O'Sullivan off the Chicago Bears' practice squad to supply them some depth at the quarterback position. O'Sullivan will be listed third behind veteran Brad Johnson and the inexperienced Shaun Hill. Cornerback Ken Irvin was released to make room on the roster.

11/7/2005

Mewelde Moore, min

Moore played the majority of Sunday's win over the Detroit Lions with a sprained right wrist, an injury suffered in the first quarter. The Vikings' running back split carries with backup Michael Bennett until finally leaving the game for good in the fourth quarter. He finished with 49 yards on 11 carries, along with one catch for 26 yards.

11/4/2005

Marcus Robinson, min

According to Vikings head coach Mike Tice, Robinson should be in the starting lineup against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, even though he's seen limited action in practice this week, due to a sore left knee. The receiver continues to be listed as questionable on Minnesota's injury report.

11/3/2005

Marcus Robinson, min

Nursing a sore knee, Robinson didn't do much during the Vikings' practice on Wednesday and he currently appears as questionable on the team's injury report. The receiver hopes to test out his leg over the next couple of days to determine if he will be available for Sunday's matchup with the Detroit Lions.

10/31/2005

Brad Johnson, min

Johnson will likely assume Minnesota's starting quarterback role for the remainder of the season with Daunte Culpepper out with a knee injury. After replacing Culpepper in the first quarter on Sunday, the 12-year veteran from Florida State went 13-for-28 for 162 yards and a touchdown in his first extended action this season.

Koren Robinson, min

Robinson was unable to return to the Vikings' lineup after suffering a concussion on a kickoff return in the second quarter of Sunday's loss to the Carolina Panthers. The receiver likely will be limited in practice this week as a precautionary measure, but the injury is considered minor, and he should be ready for the Vikings' next game.

Fred Smoot, min

Smoot was forced to leave late in Sunday's loss to the Carolina Panthers after suffering a sprained right shoulder. The Vikings' cornerback will undergo a precautionary MRI on Monday to rule out any serious damage, according to head coach Mike Tice. For the time being, he has been listed as day-to-day.

10/24/2005

Paul Edinger, min

Edinger rebounded from a rough game last week against Chicago, his former team, with a 3-for-3 effort on Sunday against the Packers. After converting from 27 and 22 yards out on his first two kicks, he won the game with a career-long 56-yard field goal as time expired.

10/21/2005

Dez White, min

A starter over the first month of the 2005 campaign, White has plummeted on the Falcons' depth chart, dropping to fifth, which could result in him being inactive on game days. Veteran Brian Finneran will step into the starting lineup opposite Michael Jenkins, while rookie Roddy White and Jerome Pathon will fill the No. 3 and No. 4 holes, respectively.

10/12/2005

Darren Sharper, min

Sharper will return to practice with the Minnesota Vikings this week, and barring any setbacks, he plans to be in the starting lineup for Sunday's meeting with the Chicago Bears. The safety has missed the team's last two games with a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee.

10/10/2005

Mike McMahon, min

McMahon will undergo arthroscopic surgery this week to determine the cause of the recent discomfort in his knee. The Eagles will update the quarterback's status following the procedure.

10/6/2005

Kenechi Udeze, min

During an arthroscopic procedure earlier this week, doctors discovered more damage in Udeze's ailing left knee than was anticipated originally. As a result, the Vikings' defensive end reportedly will be unavailable for the rest of the 2005 campaign, and he'll likely be placed on injured reserve in the near future.

10/4/2005

Dez White, min

White's strained hamstring continues to show improvement, and the Falcons are optimistic that he will be ready for Sunday's matchup with the New England Patriots. The receiver, who has just one catch for 11 yards this season, will return to the starting lineup once he's back to full strength, according to head coach Jim Mora.

9/30/2005

Darren Sharper, min

Sharper was downgraded to doubtful for this week's game against the Atlanta Falcons, and it appears likely that he will be sidelined come Sunday.

Kenechi Udeze, min

After further consideration on Friday, the Vikings have ruled Udeze out of Sunday's meeting with the Atlanta Falcons. The defensive end continues to be bothered by swelling and soreness in his left knee, and he is scheduled to undergo surgery in the near future, likely sidelining him for at least a couple of weeks. He began the week as questionable, but was downgraded after the knee showed no improvement.

Erasmus James, min

With Kenechi Udeze out for this Sunday's meeting with the Atlanta Hawks, James will get his first NFL start at left defensive end.

9/29/2005

Dez White, min

White made it through Wednesday's practice without any major problems, but he was nowhere nearing being back to full strength. The Falcons' receiver, who missed the team's last game with a strained hamstring, should be able to give it a go in Sunday's meeting with the Minnesota Vikings, but he probably won't start and his time will be limited.

9/27/2005

Dez White, min

White will be re-evaluated on Wednesday to determine if he will be able to return to practice with the Atlanta Falcons. The receiver missed the team's last game, due to a strained hamstring, and he's currently questionable for Sunday's matchup with the Minnesota Vikings. His status will be updated later in the week.

Willie Offord, min

An MRI has revealed that Offord has a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. The Vikings' safety, who suffered the injury when his foot caught in the Metrodome turf during the fourth quarter of Sunday's win over the New Orleans Saints, will be placed on injured reserve and miss the rest of the 2005 campaign. Will Hunter is slated to be activated from the practice squad to fill the void on the roster.

9/26/2005

Mewelde Moore, min

As expected, Moore got the starting nod for the Vikings in Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints, and he handled the majority of the touches out of the backfield. The running back, who had been limited over the first couple weeks of the season with an ankle injury, finished with 101 yards on 23 carries.

Troy Williamson, min

With Nate Burleson sidelined with a knee injury, Williamson was more involved in the Vikings' offensive attack in Sunday's win over the New Orleans Saints. The rookie receiver, who was the seventh overall pick in this year's draft, finished with three catches for 83 yards and the first touchdown of his NFL career.

9/25/2005

Darren Sharper, min

Still recovering from a sprained left knee, Sharper is inactive for today's game against the New Orleans Saints.

Dez White, min

White is out for today's game at Buffalo. Brian Finneran will start in his place, with rookie Roddy White possibly getting a piece of the action.

Mewelde Moore, min

Moore practiced primarily with the first string this week, and indications are that he will start at running back ahead of Michael Bennett today when the Vikings face the New Orleans Saints.

9/24/2005

Koren Robinson, min

Robinson has been named the Vikings' primary kick returner for this Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints.

9/23/2005

Dez White, min

If White is unable to practice with the Falcons again on Friday, there is a good chance that he won't be available for Sunday's matchup with the Buffalo Bills. The receiver has been sidelined since straining his hamstring in last weekend's loss to the Seattle Seahawks. He's currently listed as questionable on Atlanta's injury report.

9/21/2005

Darren Sharper, min

Tests have revealed no major damage in Sharper's sprained left knee, and the Vikings expect the safety to be ready for Sunday's matchup with the New Orleans Saints. He has been listed as probable on this week's injury report.

Dez White, min

White is expected to miss some practice time this week, due to a strained hamstring. The Falcons' receiver, who has just one reception in two games this season, was sidelined temporarily late in training camp with a sprained knee as well. He'll be listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup with the Buffalo Bills.

Koren Robinson, min

With starting wideout Nate Burleson expected to miss at least one game with a sprained knee, Robinson is slated to make his Vikings debut when the team faces the New Orleans Saints this Sunday. The receiver, who had 31 catches for 495 yards and two touchdowns in 10 games with the Seattle Seahawks last season, has put his off-field problems behind him and is ready for game action.

E.J. Henderson, min

Henderson continues to be hobbled by a sprained right ankle, and the Vikings don't expect to have his services available in Sunday's matchup with the New Orleans Saints. The linebacker suffered the injury in the first half of last weekend's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, but somehow was able to finish the game. He is sporting a protective boot on his foot as a precautionary measure.

9/20/2005

Darren Sharper, min

Sharper likely will miss some practice time this week after suffering a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee during Sunday's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. However, according to Vikings head coach Mike Tice, the injury appears minor, and the team has yet to rule him out of next weekend's meeting with the New Orleans Saints.

E.J. Henderson, min

Henderson is sporting a protective boot on his foot this week after suffering a high ankle sprain in Sunday's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Despite the injury, the linebacker was able to remain in the Vikings' lineup and finish the game. He'll be limited in practice this week, but hopes to be ready for the weekend battle against the New Orleans Saints.

9/17/2005

Tony Richardson, min

Richardson returned to practice wearing an brace on his injured knee Friday and said he would be ready to play Sunday night when the Chiefs travel to Oakland to face the Raiders. The fullback injured his knee and ankle during the Chiefs' Week 1 victory over the New York Jets.

9/15/2005

Mewelde Moore, min

Despite aggravating his sprained ankle when he was leg whipped on a special teams play in last weekend's season opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Moore has been able to work out with the Vikings over the past couple of days, and he does not show up on the team's injury report this week. Moore believes the injury is minor and he shouldn't miss much time.
