Jeremy Bloom
7/22/2006
Bloom has yet to practice with Philadelphia because of a strained hamstring and is listed as day-to-day. The Eagles' wide receiver and former Olympic skier tweaked his hamstring while working out with quarterback Donovan McNabb in Arizona and underwent an MRI Thursday. "He does have a strained hamstring, and we'll take this thing day by day," Eagles coach Andy Reid said Saturday. "It could take a little bit of time."

Bloom signed a four-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles on Wednesday. The 5-foot-9, 172-pound wide receiver had 24 receptions for an average of 19.1 yards per catch in two seasons at Colorado. The fifth-round draft pick returned 47 punts at 13.5 yards per return and 25 kickoffs at 25.1 yards per return.
