Brodrick Bunkley
8/4/2006
Defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley agreed to a six-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday, ending the first-round pick's two-week holdout. Bunkley, the 14th overall selection in the NFL draft, agreed to a deal worth $13 million, according to an official within the NFL. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because terms weren't publicly disclosed.

Bunkley's plans to have an impact season are decreasing each day the rookie misses practice. Bunkley, the 14th pick in the first round of the NFL draft, still hasn't reached a contract agreement with the Eagles nearly two weeks into training camp. The 6-foot-2, 300-pound defensive tackle already has missed 13 days and almost certainly won't play in Sunday's game against Oakland, even if he signed immediately.
