Roscoe Parrish
10/20/2005
As long as no problems are reported over the next couple of days, Parrish should make his NFL debut when the Bills take the field against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. The rookie receiver, who was a second-round pick in this year's draft, has been working his way back into action since undergoing surgery nearly two months ago to repair damage in his right wrist. He worked out at full speed with the team on Wednesday and currently is listed as questionable.

Parrish is at least another week away from being ready for game action, but he has resumed practicing with the Buffalo Bills. The rookie receiver, who was a second-round pick in this year's draft, has been sidelined since undergoing surgery nearly two months ago to repair damage in his right wrist. As a junior at Miami last season, Parrish had 43 catches for 693 yards and an ACC-high eight touchdowns.

Parrish continues to recover on schedule after undergoing surgery earlier this month to repair damage in his right wrist. The Bills' rookie receiver, who was a second-round pick in this year's draft, is expected to be unavailable until at least early October. As a junior at Miami last season, Parrish had 43 catches for 693 yards and an ACC-high eight touchdowns.

Parrish was forced to undergo surgery to repair damage in his right wrist, an injury suffered during a training camp workout last week. The Bills' rookie receiver will be sidelined indefinitely, but he is expected to play at some point later this season. He was a second-round pick in this year's draft.

Parrish was to undergo X-rays late Wednesday after injuring his right hand during the Bills' workout. For now, the rookie receiver, who was a second-round pick in this year's draft, is listed as day-to-day. His status likely will be updated once the results of the tests are known.

Parrish and the Bills agreed to terms on a four-year, $2.7 million deal on Friday, and he will join his Buffalo teammates for the opening of training-camp practices this weekend. The Bills' second-round selection in this year's draft (the team did not have a first-round choice), Parrish caught 86 balls for 1,355 yards and 12 scores in three seasons with Miami (Fla.).
