Luis Castillo

8/20/2005

Castillo will sit out San Diego's preseason game against the St. Louis Rams because of a sprained foot.

7/26/2005

Castillo agreed to terms with the Chargers on a five-year deal on Tuesday worth up to $7.035 million, with $4.664 million guaranteed. The defensive tackle out of Northwestern was expected to join fellow San Diego rookies in camp on Tuesday afternoon. Castillo, who played in 42 games in his four-year college career, was taken with the 28th overall pick in this year's draft, the second of the Chargers' two first-rounders.
