Aaron Rodgers
8/17/2005
According to Packers offensive coordinator Tom Rossley, Rodgers is digesting the team's playbook well, and he has looked good in training camp workouts to date. The rookie quarterback, who was the 24th overall pick in this year's draft, is slated to see extensive playing time in Saturday's exhibition meeting with the Buffalo Bills.

Rodgers signed with the Packers on Saturday night, a reported five-year deal with undisclosed terms. Rodgers, the team's first-round draft choice this year, reported to practice immediately following completion of the contract. The delay has caused the rookie quarterback to miss the team's first four practices.

Rodgers reportedly struggled during the Packers' minicamp held this past week. The first-round draft pick failed to show accuracy with his throws, many of them sailing high.
