Hicks will get the starting nod at tailback for the San Francisco 49ers in Sunday's matchup with the Arizona Cardinals, replacing the injured Kevan Barlow, who will be inactive with a sore left knee. The veteran running back will handle the majority of the carries, as regular backup Frank Gore is also sidelined with injury.
