ReShard Lee

12/2/2005

Lee has been placed on injured reserve by the Green Bay Packers, officially bringing his 2005 campaign to an end. The running back, who is nursing a rib injury, appeared in seven games this season, but picked up just 16 yards on 11 carries. He will be replaced on the roster by rookie Noah Herron.

10/25/2005

With Ahman Green and Najeh Davenport both lost for the season with injuries, the Packers now will turn to Tony Fisher and Lee to fill the void in the backfield. Fisher is slated to step into the starting lineup, while Lee will serve as the primary backup going forward. In two games this season, Lee has just seven yards on seven carries.

10/6/2005

Lee has signed with the Green Bay Packers, filling the roster spot of rookie receiver Terrence Murphy, who will miss the rest of the 2005 campaign with a neck injury. The running back spent time with both the Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings in training camp this year, but was released before the start of the regular season. He rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown in 14 games with the Dallas Cowboys in 2004.

8/31/2005

Lee, who was released by the Buffalo Bills after struggling this preseason, has been claimed off waivers by the Minnesota Vikings. The running back spent the 2004 campaign with the Dallas Cowboys, finishing the season with 128 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries in 14 games.

8/29/2005

Lee has been released by the Buffalo Bills. The running back had been competing for a backup job behind starter Willis McGahee, but struggled in limited duty and lost out to Shaud Williams and Lionel Gates. He spent the 2004 campaign with the Dallas Cowboys, finishing the season with 128 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries in 14 games.

5/13/2005

Lee, who was released by the Dallas Cowboys earlier this month, has agreed to a two-year contract with the Buffalo Bills. With veteran Travis Henry expected to be traded before the start of the 2005 campaign, Lee is slated to compete with Shaud Williams for the backup job behind starting tailback Willis McGahee next season.

5/4/2005

Lee has been released by the Dallas Cowboys. The running back, who had 128 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries in 14 games last season, became expendable when the team inked former Bears tailback Anthony Thomas earlier this week.
