Taylor, who has been banged up all season, has been placed on injured reserve by the New York Giants, officially ending his 2005 campaign. The receiver did not have a catch all year, seeing the majority of his playing time on special teams.

Taylor has returned to practice with the New York Giants after being limited over the past three weeks with a nagging strained hip flexor. The second-year receiver hopes to see some action in Friday's exhibition meeting with the New York Jets.

Taylor continues to be hampered by a nagging strained hip flexor, an injury suffered during the first week of training camp. The receiver has been unable to work out with the Giants this week, and he's not expected to be available for Saturday's preseason matchup with the Carolina Panthers.
