Ernest Wilford
12/9/2005
Wilford will likely see fewer snaps the rest of the season after Jack Del Rio came out and said the receiver could be more effective in he played 40-45 snaps per game rather than the 65 or so he is currently seeing.
11/14/2005
Wilford was unable to return to the Jaguars' lineup after spraining his right shoulder in the fourth quarter of Sunday's victory over the Baltimore Ravens. The receiver, who had just one catch for 10 yards prior to his departure, did not seem too concerned with the injury after the game, but he will not work out with the team until at least Wednesday as a precautionary measure.

Wilford will remain in the Jacksonville Jaguars' starting lineup for the foreseeable future, according to head coach Jack Del Rio. The receiver has thrived since filling in for Reggie Williams, who missed some time with a concussion, hauling in 10 passes for 234 yards and two touchdowns over his last two games combined.

Wilford had the best day of his short two-year career on Sunday with six catches for 145 yards and a touchdown. Coming into the game he only had nine receptions for 117 yards in six games this season.
