Jake Grove

10/25/2005

Grove said he plans to return to the Raiders' lineup for Sunday's matchup with the Tennessee Titans. The second-year center, who has been sidelined for nearly a month after undergoing surgery to repair cartilage damage in his right knee, reported no problem after testing out the leg prior to last weekend's victory over the Buffalo Bills.

Grove underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Monday after tests revealed torn cartilage. The Raiders' starting center, who suffered the injury in the third quarter of Sunday's victory over the Dallas Cowboys, is expected to be sidelined for the next 3-4 weeks. In his absence, Adam Treu will fill the void on Oakland's offensive front.
