Reggie Williams

1/10/2006

Williams was cited for running a red light, turning left from a center lane and unknowingly driving on a suspended or revoked driver's license during a traffic stop on Monday. Additionally, while searching his car, police reportedly found two marijuana cigarettes and a small bag of loose marijuana. The Jaguars' receiver was charged with possession of 20 grams or less of marijuana, a misdemeanor.

11/13/2005

After getting his bell rung in practice earlier this week, Williams will be in uniform when the Jaguars take the field to face the Baltimore Ravens today.

11/11/2005

After taking a shot in practice on Wednesday, Williams has been added to the Jaguars' injury report. The receiver, who recently dropped to fourth on the team's depth chart, is listed as questionable with a concussion. He will be a game-time decision for Sunday's meeting with the Baltimore Ravens. In eight contests on the year, Williams has 21 catches for 246 yards.

11/8/2005

Williams has recovered from the concussion he suffered late last month, but he will not return to the starting lineup any time soon, primarily because of the solid play of Ernest Wilford in his absence. The Jaguars plan to start Jimmy Smith and Wilford, with first-round pick Matt Jones and Williams handling backup duties.

11/5/2005

Williams, who suffered a concussion during Jacksonville's loss to the Rams last week, has passed all medical tests. The wide receiver has been cleared to play Sunday, when the Jaguars take on the Houston Texans.

11/4/2005

Williams has been practicing with the Jaguars this week and has shown no ill effects from the concussion and shoulder injury he suffered last weekend against the St. Louis Rams. As a result, the receiver is listed as probable on the injury report, and the team expects to have his services available for Sunday's meeting with the Houston Texans.

11/1/2005

Williams is currently listed as questionable for this weekend's meeting with the Houston Texans after suffering a concussion in the first quarter of last Sunday's loss to the St. Louis Rams. The Jaguars will monitor the receiver's progress over the coming days and make a decision on his availability later in the week.

10/2/2005

Williams was forced to miss the Jaguars' practice on Thursday due to a knee injury. The wide receiver was listed on the team's injury report as probable for Sunday's matchup with the Broncos. Although he should be ready to go by game time, not much should be expected of the rookie, who has logged just 13 catches this season.

8/29/2005

Williams will go into the 2005 campaign as a starter for the Jacksonville Jaguars, lining up opposite veteran wideout Jimmy Smith. The receiver, who was the ninth overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft, appeared in 27 games last season, hauling in 27 passes for 268 yards and one touchdown.
