P.J. Alexander

6/2/2005

Alexander has been released by the Denver Broncos. The offensive lineman, who was expected to compete for the team's starting right-guard spot this season, will be sidelined indefinitely after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee while riding an ATV a couple weeks ago.

Alexander tore the ACL in his right knee at the Broncos' recent passing camp and will miss the 2005 season. The guard was expected to compete for a starting job on the right side of the Denver offensive line. He played in five games as an undrafted free agent last year, but did not make a start.
