David Tyree
3/22/2006
Tyree reportedly signed a five-year contract with the New York Giants Wednesday. The Pro Bowl special teams player is the highest-paid special teams player in the league, said Tyree's agent, Mark Clouser, and is on a par with money paid to No. 3 receivers in the league. Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed.

According to Giants head coach Tom Coughlin, Tyree should see plenty of looks this season after winning the No. 3 receiver job over Tim Carter and Jamaar Taylor. The third-year wideout had just 10 catches for 155 yards and a touchdown in 16 games in 2004.
