Torrie Cox

9/15/2005

After being stopped for driving under the influence for the second time in the last 10 months earlier this week, Cox will not play in Sunday's matchup with the Buffalo Bills, according to Buccaneers head coach Jon Gruden. The cornerback had just one tackle in the team's opener last weekend.

After refusing a blood alcohol test in a traffic stop early Tuesday morning, Cox was jailed and charged with driving under the influence. The Buccaneers' backup cornerback, who was arrested for DUI last December as well, likely will face a fine and/or suspension from the NFL if convicted.
