Pontbriand will miss the rest of the season after being placed on injured reserve by the Cleveland Browns. The center, who served primarily as the team's long snapper, suffered a back injury in Sunday's loss to the Minnesota Vikings. He will be replaced on the roster by Jody Littleton.
