Artose Pinner

12/15/2005

Regular starter Kevin Jones is expected to miss his second game in three weeks when the Lions take the field against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, as he's officially listed as doubtful with a hyperextended elbow. As a result, Pinner will see an increase in his playing time, splitting carries with Shawn Bryson.

With regular starter Kevin Jones inactive with a quadriceps injury, the Detroit Lions turned to Pinner and Shawn Bryson to split the rushing duties in Sunday's loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Bryson notched six carries, but Pinner got most of the work, finishing with 64 yards and a touchdown on 14 rushes, along with three catches for a team-high 39 yards.
