Musa Smith
11/29/2005
Smith continues to have problems with the leg he fractured in a game last season, and the ailment likely will land him on injured reserve, officially ending his 2005 campaign, according to Ravens head coach Brian Billick. The running back began the season on the physically unable to perform list and has played in just one game since being activated.

Smith has finally recovered from the broken leg he suffered in a game last season and has been activated from the physically unable to perform list by the Baltimore Ravens. The running back, who takes the roster spot of the released Kordell Stewart, will be available for Sunday's matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Continuing to recover from the broken leg he suffered in a game against the Dallas Cowboys last season, Smith has been placed on the physically unable to perform list by the Baltimore Ravens. The running back will miss at least the first six weeks of the 2005 campaign.

Smith will be placed on the physically-unable-to-perform (PUP) list to open training camp, and there is no timetable for when the Ravens' third-string halfback will resume normal workouts. Smith broke his right leg in a game against the Cowboys last November, and he still is working his way back from that injury.
