Johnson has been placed on the physically-unable-to-perform (PUP) list with an ankle injury and will miss at least the opening of Patriots training camp. The wide receiver will be eligible to come off the list and return to practice at any time during the preseason, but if he does so the team will not be able to place him back on the PUP list to start the regular season.
