Joppru will miss at least the first six weeks of the season after being placed on the physically unable to perform list by the Houston Texans. The injury prone tight end, who was a second-round pick in the 2003 NFL Draft, has been sidelined since suffering ligament damage in his right knee during a mini-camp workout in May.
