Clark is active for Indianapolis' game against Jacksonville on Sunday. The tight end has been out since suffering a concussion during preseason action three weeks ago. In 15 games last year, Clark hauled in 25 passes for 423 yards and five touchdowns, but he should play a bigger role in the Colts' offense in 2005.

Clark was back at practice with the Indianapolis Colts on Monday and has been cleared to return to the starting lineup for the team's Week 2 meeting with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The tight end missed three weeks after suffering a concussion in a preseason contest.

Clark traveled with the Indianapolis Colts for Sunday night's meeting with the Baltimore Ravens, but he will not play in the season opener, as he continues to recover from the concussion he sustained in a preseason matchup two weeks ago. The Colts are hopeful that the tight end will be ready for Week 2.

Clark will be a gametime decision for the Colts' season opener Sunday night against the Baltimore Ravens. The tight end, who suffered a concussion in a preseason game against the Denver Broncos two weeks ago, was held out of contact drills all week as a precautionary measure. A decision wlil be made once doctors review the results of neurological tests taken on Friday. In 15 games last year, Clark hauled in 25 passes for 423 yards and five touchdowns.

Clark has been limited over the past couple of weeks after suffering a mild concussion in a preseason meeting with the Denver Broncos. The Colts' tight end hopes to be cleared to play in Sunday night's regular-season opener against the Baltimore Ravens. In 15 games last year, Clark hauled in 25 passes for 423 yards and five touchdowns.

Although a decision on Clark's availability for Saturday's exhibition battle with the Chicago Bears likely won't be made until later this week, the Colts welcomed the tight end back to practice on Monday. Clark, who missed most of the team's offseason workouts while recovering from hernia surgery, had been sidelined for the better part of two weeks with a hamstring injury.

Clark has yet to practice with the Colts this offseason as he continues to recover from the hernia surgery he underwent in early April. The team hopes its starting tight end may be able to participate in some workouts before summer school ends on June 9, and Clark is expected to be ready to go at full strength by the start of training camp in late July. In his sophomore pro campaign in 2004, Clark caught 25 passes for 423 yards and five touchdowns.
