Bryant Johnson

11/23/2005

Johnson continues to be slowed by the shoulder injury he suffered in practice nearly three weeks ago. Barring a miraculous recovery over the next few days, he will not be available for Sunday's matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars. In eight games this season, Johnson has 21 catches for 212 yards and one touchdown.

According to Cardinals head coach Dennis Green, Johnson is at least another week from returning to action, due the shoulder injury he suffered in practice last Thursday. The team expects to be without the receiver's services for Sunday's matchup with the St. Louis Rams.

Johnson will not play in today's game against the Detroit Lions.

11/12/2005

Johnson has been downgraded to doubtful for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions because of a shoulder injury.

11/11/2005

Johnson's availability for Sunday's matchup with the Detroit Lions is now up in the air after the receiver sprained his shoulder while trying to catch a pass during Thursday's practice. The Cardinals' wideout, who has been listed as questionable on the injury report, will be evaluated over the next couple of days and likely will be a game-time decision this weekend.

Anquan Boldin is expected to miss some time with a bone bruise in his right knee, so until he is able to return to action, the Arizona Cardinals will look to Johnson to fill the void in the lineup. The receiver will step in opposite Larry Fitzgerald beginning with this weekend's meeting with the Seattle Seahawks.
