Suggs has been fined $15,000 for making contact with an official during Sunday's meeting with the Detroit Lions. While arguing a roughing the passer penalty, the defensive end's face mask touched the bill of referee Mike Carey's cap, resulting in him being ejected from the contest.

After missing practice on Wednesday with back spasms, Suggs was back on the field with the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday. The defensive end said he plans to be in the lineup for Sunday's meeting with the Tennessee Titans, and those thoughts were echoed by head coach Brian Billick.

Suggs has a June 13 trail date in Maracopa County, Arizona to face charges of two counts of aggravated assault. The trial date was set after the linebacker decided against changing his plea of "not guilty" in the chrges that stem from a Phoenix Municipal Stadium parking lot fight after a basketball tournament in March 2003. Suggs is one of four people faces charges in this case.
