Jason McKie

11/9/2005

McKie has been activated from the non-football injury list by the Chicago Bears, filling the roster spot of fellow fullback Marc Edwards, who was released on Tuesday. A four-year veteran, McKie tore a pectoral muscle while lifting weights over the summer and has been sidelined since.

Tests have revealed that McKie has a torn pectoral muscle, an injury suffered while lifting weights earlier this month. The Bears' fullback is expected to miss at least two months, and there is a chance he could be forced to sit out the entire 2005 campaign. He appeared in 15 games last season, hauling in 13 passes for 70 yards and two touchdowns.
