Cundiff has re-signed with the Dallas Cowboys, replacing Sean Suisham, who was released on Saturday. Cundiff was cut and given an injury settlement in August after suffering a strained hip flexor in training camp, which sidelined him for more than a month. He resumed his duties as the Cowboys' kicker in Sunday's win over the Detroit Lions, connecting on both of his point after tries and two field goals, including a 56-yarder.

Cundiff suffered a hip flexor in practice on Saturday and will be out three to four weeks. Jose Cortez will fill in during this time, but the Cowboys have not ruled out signing another kicker to bolster their depth.

Cundiff has re-signed with the Dallas Cowboys, agreeing to a one-year contract. The kicker nailed 20 of his 26 field-goal attempts last season, including 9 of 15 from 40 yards or more. He also was perfect on all 31 of his point-after tries.
