Kevin Thomas
4/18/2006
Thomas, a backup cornerback, was released by Buffalo on Monday after missing all of last season with a knee injury. Thomas recorded 49 tackles, one interception, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery in 38 career games with the Bills.

According to Bills head coach Mike Mularkey, Thomas, who had surgery to repair a broken bone in his right leg last spring, underwent another clean-up procedure on his right knee about two weeks ago. The reserve cornerback is still on crutches, but the team has not officially ruled him out for the rest of the season. He will be re-evaluated in a couple of weeks before determining the next course of action.
