Kansas City sent Fujita to the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday in exchange for a sixth-round pick in 2006 and a conditional pick in 2007.

Fujita continues to recover from offseason surgery to remove bone chips from his ankle, and he will not be ready for the start of training camp. As a result, the Chiefs are expected to place the linebacker on the physically unable to perform list until he is healthy enough to return to the field. In 16 games last season, he notched 90 tackles and 4.5 sacks.
