Jarvis Green

7/29/2005

The Patriots signed Green to a four-year contract extension on Friday, a deal that could keep the young defensive end in New England through the 2009 campaign. Including the money guaranteed for the 2005 season, Green stands to make up to $18 million over the next five years. The fourth-year pro out of LSU was taken by the Pats in the fourth round of the 2002 draft. He's played in 47 of 48 games over that span, logging 8.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and three recoveries.
