Despite a sore ankle, Gordon has been practicing with the Eagles this week without any major problems. The veteran running back, who officially is listed as probable on the injury report, will be available for Sunday's matchup with the St. Louis Rams.

The Philadelphia Eagles claimed Gordon off waivers from the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. The Eagles pick up a big running back who will provide some backfield depth. They filled a need created by the season-ending knee injury to Correll Buckhalter.

Gordon was released by the Dolphins on Saturday. The running back played in just three games for Miami in 2004 before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury.
