Allen will miss next season after rupturing a tendon in his knee on Tuesday. According to New Orleans general manager Mickey Loomis, Allen was participating in non-contact drills when he ruptured his right patella tendon. The Saints' linebacker, who was limited to three games in 2005 because of knee problems, underwent surgery on Wednesday.
