Langston Walker

12/3/2005

The Raiders placed Walker on injured reserve Friday. The offensive lineman underwent emergency abdominal surgery on Oct. 25 for a hemorrhage and has been sidelined ever since.

After complaining of abdominal pain on Tuesday, Walker was sent to a doctor for evaluation to determine the cause of the discomfort. A hemorrhage was discovered in his stomach, and the Raiders' starting left guard was forced to emergency surgery later in the day. According to head coach Norv Turner, Walker will be sidelined at least six weeks, but the absence could be considerably longer.
