Reche Caldwell

9/18/2005

Caldwell was forced to miss portions of the Chargers' team practice on Friday, due to soreness in his surgically repaired knee. Caldwell tore his ACL last October, and has been rehabbing ever since.

Caldwell tested his surgically repaired right knee in minicamp over the weekend, and the San Diego wideout said it felt "really good." He estimated that he was at 95 percent, which is a very positive assessment from someone who tore his ACL last October. The fourth-year veteran caught 18 balls last season for 310 yards and three touchdowns, but the injury ended his campaign after just six games.
