Andre' Davis
3/12/2006
Davis will reunite with Buffalo Bills quarterback Kelly Holcomb, a former teammate with the Cleveland Browns, by signing a one-year contract worth $1.3 million.
10/19/2005
Davis, who had been released last September 28, has been re-signed by the Patriots. In 39 games over the past three season for the Cleveland Browns, he scored 13 touchdowns on 93 receptions, good for 1412 yards. His last catch came on October 17, 2004, a league-record 99-yard touchdown against the Cincinnati Bengals.

After failing to make an impact in New England, Davis has been waived by the Patriots. The receiver, who was acquired from the Cleveland Browns in exchange for a draft pick last month, suffered a leg injury late in training camp and was unable to move up the Pats' depth chart. He will be replaced on the roster by veteran running back Amos Zereoue.

Andre Davis is inactive for today's game against the Steelers.
9/2/2005
An undisclosed leg injury knocked Davis out of Thursday's preseason finale against the New York Giants in the second quarter. The receiver's status should be updated over the next couple of days, but the information the Patriots release about their players' injuries normally is limited. Consider him as day-to-day at this point.

The Cleveland Browns have traded Davis to the New England Patriots in exchange for a future draft pick. Reportedly, the receiver hadn't been having a very good training camp and had fallen on the Browns' depth chart. A nagging toe injury limited Davis' production last season, as he finished the year with 16 catches for 416 yards and two touchdowns in seven games.
