Wendell Bryant

8/2/2005

The Cardinals released Bryant on Saturday, officially cutting ties with the player who they selected with the 12th overall pick in the 2002 draft. Bryant logged just 1.5 sacks in 29 career games (nine starts) with Arizona, without a single forced fumble or recovery. He played in just three regular-season contests last season, recording a single lone tackle. Head coach Dennis Green said that Bryant no longer was a good fit for the team.
