Ryan Sims

9/16/2005

According to Chiefs head coach Dick Vermeil, Sims will be sidelined indefinitely, due to the foot injury he suffered in last weekend's season-opening victory over the New York Jets. Specifics of the ailment have not been released, but reportedly, the defensive tackle might be forced to sit out the rest of the season.

Sims will travel to North Carolina to get a second opinion on the foot injury he suffered in Sunday's season-opening victory over the New York Jets. The defensive tackle is expected to miss at least this weekend's matchup with the Oakland Raiders, and there is a chance he could be sidelined for several weeks.
