Deion Sanders
6/8/2005
Sanders passed his physical on Wednesday, thus making the one-year, $1.5 million deal that he signed with the Ravens on Monday official. The veteran cornerback played in nine games with Baltimore last season, logging three interceptions and five passes defensed. He returned one of those picks for a touchdown, giving him nine interception-return touchdowns in his NFL career. Sanders underwent surgery on one of the toes on his left foot in the offseason.

Sanders has agreed to a one-year, $1.5 contract with the Baltimore Ravens. The deal, which could be as much as $4 million with incentives, is contingent on the 37-year-old defensive back passing a physical. After sitting out four seasons, Sanders returned to action last year, but was limited to just nine games by foot, toe and hamstring injuries. He notched eight tackles and three interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown.
