After tearing the ACL and MCL in his right knee Friday night against Baltimore, tight end Boo Williams will miss all of the 2005 season. Over the last two seasons, Williams caught a total of 74 passes for the Saints for 798 yards and seven touchdowns.

Williams could miss up to two weeks after straining his hamstring during the Saints' practice on Monday. The injury could cost the tight end a spot on the club's roster for the 2005 season. Currently, he is listed behind starter Ernie Conwell and backups Shad Meier and Zach Hilton on the Saints' depth chart.
