Chris Hoke

6/9/2005

The Steelers signed Hoke to a two-year contract extension on Thursday. The nose tackle has been in Pittsburgh on and off since 2001, but last season was his first taste of regular-season action. Hoke played in 14 games in 2004, starting the final 10 regular-season contests after Casey Hampton was lost due to season-ending knee surgery. Hoke finished the year with 13 tackles, 11 assists and one sack. He also added a sack in the postseason.
