Nick Goings

Goings was unable to return to the Carolina Panthers' lineup after taking a helmet-to-helmet hit from Seattle linebacker Lofa Tatupu in the first quarter of Sunday's NFC Championship game against the Seahawks. The running back, who got the starting nod in place of the injured DeShaun Foster, suffered a concussion and finished with just five yards on two carries.

With DeShaun Foster out for the rest of the playoffs with a broken ankle, an injury suffered in Sunday's victory over the Chicago Bears, the Carolina Panthers will look to Goings to fill the void in the backfield. The fifth-year running back finished the regular season with 133 yards on 37 carries and 14 catches for 151 yards, but he failed to find the end zone in 16 games.
