David Martin
12/27/2005
Martin hopes to be available for the Packers' season finale against the Seattle Seahawks this weekend, but a decision likely won't be made until later in the week. The tight end was unable to return to the lineup after suffering a concussion in Sunday's loss to the Chicago Bears. He has 27 catches for 224 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games this season.

Martin has yet to return to practice with the Green Bay Packers, and he's expected to miss his third consecutive game, due to a nagging groin injury. With the backup tight end sidelined, Donald Lee will move up a spot on the roster and serve as starter Bubba Franks' primary backup.

The groin injury that Martin suffered late last week continues to be a problem, and the tight end was unable to practice with the Green Bay Packers on Wednesday. After missing last weekend's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, Martin has been listed as questionable for Sunday's tussle with the Pittsburgh Steelers. In six games this season, he has 11 catches for 106 yards and two touchdowns.

Martin did not work out with the Green Bay Packers on Friday after straining his right hamstring while running routes late in practice the previous day. The ailment has the tight end listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals. In six games this season, he has 11 catches for 106 yards and two touchdowns.
