The NFL has suspended Jameson without pay for the first four games of the 2005 season for violating the league's substance abuse policy. A sixth-round draft pick in 2001, Jameson played in all 16 games for the Browns last season, but has made just one start in his career. The cornerback will be eligible to rejoin the active roster on October 10.
