Jonas Jennings
11/8/2005
Jennings is scheduled to undergo surgery on Tuesday to repair the torn labrum in his ailing right shoulder. If extensive damage is found, the 49ers' offensive lineman likely will be forced to miss the rest of the 2005 campaign. He has not played since the third game of the season.

Jennings will once again sit out of the 49ers game on Sunday due to a shoulder injury. The offensive tackle has been hurt and hasn't played since week three when he suffered a torn labrum in his right shoulder.
10/6/2005
With the San Francisco 49ers having a bye in Week 6, Jennings admitted that he probably won't return to the lineup until at least an October 23 meeting with the Washington Redskins. The starting left tackle, currently listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts, has a torn labrum in his shoulder, which will require surgery. He hopes to avoid going under the knife until after the season.

Jennings reportedly has a tear of the labrum in his shoulder, an injury that likely will prevent him from playing in Sunday's matchup with the Indianapolis Colts. Should the 49ers' starting left tackle be unavailable as expected, he will be replaced in the lineup by Anthony Clement.

Sporting a protective cast, Jennings was back on the practice field with the San Francisco 49ers on Monday, and there's a good chance that he'll be available for Saturday's exhibition game against the Denver Broncos. The starting offensive lineman missed more than a week after undergoing surgery to repair a tendon tear in his right index finger.

Jennings should be ready for the start of the regular season, but he'll miss the next week to 10 days after undergoing surgery on Friday to repair a tendon tear in his right index finger. The offensive lineman is slated to start at left tackle for the 49ers this season.
