Henry and the Titans have come to terms on a restructured contract that saves the team from paying a $4 million option the running back was scheduled to get. Instead, he will receive a new multi-year contract.

Henry, who missed last weekend's loss to the Seattle Seahawks with a sprained right ankle, was able to practice with the Tennessee Titans on Thursday, and barring any setbacks, he'll be available for Saturday's tussle with the Miami Dolphins. The running back could get the starting nod if Chris Brown is unable to bounce back from his shoulder injury.

The Titans deactivated Henry for Sunday's game against Seattle. The Titans' running back sprained his right ankle in last week's victory over Houston, and was slowed by the flu this week.

Henry was unable to return to the Titans' backfield after spraining his ankle in the third quarter of Sunday's win over the Houston Texans. According to head coach Jeff Fisher, Henry will miss at least next weekend's matchup with the Seattle Seahawks.

According to Titans head coach Jeff Fisher, Henry and Chris Brown will split carries in practice this week, and the process likely will be the same in Sunday's matchup with the Oakland Raiders. Brown is questionable after suffering a shoulder stinger last weekend, but the team is confident that he will be able to start on Sunday. Henry, who returned to action this week after serving a a four-game suspension, will be second on the depth chart.

In three games this season, Henry has 97 yards on 31 carries, as well as three catches for 20 yards.
9/26/2005
As was rumored on Sunday, Henry has been suspended for four games by the NFL for violating the league's substance abuse policy. The Titans' running back is not expected to appeal, meaning he will begin serving the penalty immediately. He'll be eligible to return to the club on October 24.
9/19/2005
Henry saw a few more touches than expected in Sunday's victory over the Baltimore Ravens, as fellow tailback Chris Brown was forced to leave early in the second half after suffering a mild concussion. Henry, who has been recovering from a nagging turf toe injury, finished with 62 yards on 18 carries.
9/11/2005
Henry will be in uniform and available for Sunday's season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he'll likely be limited to 10 or fewer carries, as he continues to be slowed by a nagging turf toe injury. The ailment has bothered the Titans' running back for more than two weeks. Chris Brown will see the majority of the work out of Tennessee's backfield this weekend.
9/6/2005
According to Titans head coach Jeff Fisher, Henry likely will practice at full speed with the team on Wednesday after being hobbled for the past couple of weeks by a nagging turf toe injury. Barring any setbacks, the running back, who was acquired from the Buffalo Bills during the offseason, should be available for Sunday's opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Henry continues to be hobbled by a nagging turf toe injury, and the Tennessee Titans have ruled him out for Thursday's preseason finale against the Green Bay Packers. Whether the running back will be available for the start of the regular season is yet to be determined. The Titans acquired Henry from the Buffalo Bills during the offseason to serve as a backup to starting tailback Chris Brown.

The Tennessee Titans aren't taking any chances with Henry's turf toe injury and already have ruled him out of Friday's exhibition game against the San Francisco 49ers. The running back, acquired from the Buffalo Bills during the offseason, is slated to split time in the backfield with Chris Brown in 2005.

Henry, who was acquired from the Buffalo Bills on Monday in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, has signed a multiyear contract extension with his new club, the Tennessee Titans. Official terms of the new deal were not released, but the running back had just one year remaining on his old contract. ESPN's Len Pasquarelli is reporting that the Bills and Titans have an agreement in principle that would send Henry to Tennessee in exchange for a 2006 3rd round draft pick. Barring any complications, the trade, which is contingent on Henry passing a Titans-administered physical, is expected to be finalized sometime next week.

Henry remains on the trading block after losing his starting job to Willis McGahee last season, and the Bills' disgruntled running back reportedly could be on his way to Jacksonville within the next several days, according to Jaguars head coach Jack Del Rio. The Jags are looking for some insurance in case Fred Taylor is slow to recover from offseason knee surgery.
