Kyle Vanden Bosch

2/17/2006

Vanden Bosch and the Tennessee Titans reached an agreement on a multiyear deal Thursday, keeping the defensive end off the market. Vanden Bosch earned the veteran's minimum of $540,000 last season, when his worth was in doubt because of torn ACLs in both of his knees. He recorded 100 tackles and 12 1/2 sacks last season, more than doubling his career high of five sacks. The terms of his new contract were not immediately disclosed.

Vanden Bosch reportedly will replace the injured Miami Dolphins defensive end Jason Taylor on the AFC roster for the Feb. 12 Pro Bowl in Honolulu.
