Koren Robinson
8/16/2006
Robinson was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of drunken driving and fleeing from police. The Vikings wide receiver was caught on a radar going more than 100 mph in a 55 mph zone at 10:45 p.m., and he refused to stop, Chief Matt Peters said Wednesday. He was arrested about 10 miles away in Mankato, where the Vikings hold training camp. The 26-year-old Robinson may face a felony charge of fleeing police and a DWI charge.
3/12/2006
Robinson signed a three-year extension worth $12.7 million, including $5.5 in guaranteed bonuses, with the Vikings. The deal includes a team option after the first season.
12/5/2005
Robinson recently won a spot in the Minnesota Vikings' starting lineup, and in Sunday's win over the Detroit Lions, he took full advantage of the added playing time. The receiver, who was limited to special-teams duties earlier this year, hauled in four passes for a season-high 148 yards, including an 80-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter.

While Nate Burleson will be back for the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, CBS is reporting that Robinson will start at wide receiver ahead of Burleson. Robinson has made a few big plays the last two weeks, catching four passes for 95 yards in wins over the New York Giants and Green Bay Packers.
10/31/2005
Robinson was unable to return to the Vikings' lineup after suffering a concussion on a kickoff return in the second quarter of Sunday's loss to the Carolina Panthers. The receiver likely will be limited in practice this week as a precautionary measure, but the injury is considered minor, and he should be ready for the Vikings' next game.
9/24/2005
Robinson has been named the Vikings' primary kick returner for this Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints.
9/21/2005
With starting wideout Nate Burleson expected to miss at least one game with a sprained knee, Robinson is slated to make his Vikings debut when the team faces the New Orleans Saints this Sunday. The receiver, who had 31 catches for 495 yards and two touchdowns in 10 games with the Seattle Seahawks last season, has put his off-field problems behind him and is ready for game action.
9/13/2005
After being temporarily released by the Minnesota Vikings over the weekend, Robinson has re-signed with the club, as anticipated. The receiver, who originally agreed to terms on a two-year contract last week, now is signed to a one-year deal. Reportedly, at least five other teams expressed interest in Robinson's services, including the Packers, who lost top wideout Javon Walker for the season.
9/6/2005
Robinson has agreed to terms on a two-year contract with the Minnesota Vikings, according to his agent. Although the troubled receiver won't be available for the Vikings' first game of the 2005 campaign, he will work out with the team over the next couple of weeks in hopes of being ready to contribute in Week 2.

Robinson has admitted that he has an alcohol problem and has checked himself in to a month-long treatment program at a center in South Carolina. The former Seattle wide receiver, who currently is unsigned, had a tumultuous season on the field in 2004 and also off of it, as he was charged with DUI in early May. He is expected to be released from the center at the end of August, at which time he likely will try to resume his NFL career.

Following his latest off-field incident, Robinson has been released by the Seattle Seahawks. On Tuesday, the receiver plead not guilty to misdemeanor criminal charges of driving under the influence and reckless driving, stemming from an incident early last month. Robinson missed five games because of suspensions last season -- four for violating the league's substance abuse policy and one for breaking a team rule. He was scheduled to earn $1.35 million in 2005.
