Battling soreness in his neck, Stecker shows up as questionable on the Saints' injury report this week. Despite the ailment, the running back was able to practice with the team on Wednesday, and he plans to be ready for Sunday's matchup with the Carolina Panthers. In 12 games this season, he has 289 yards on 77 carries, as well as 23 catches for 210 yards, but has yet to find the end zone.

Stecker did not take part in the team portion of practice on Wednesday to rest his sore ankle, but he was back on the field for Thursday's workout and reported no major problems. The Saints' running back, who has been playing with a minor high ankle sprain for more than a month, officially is listed as questionable on this week's injury report, but plans to be ready for Sunday's matchup with the Miami Dolphins.

Despite a sore Achilles and the high ankle sprain he's been trying to shake off for nearly a month, Stecker was able to work out with the New Orleans Saints on Wednesday, and he should be ready for Sunday's meeting with the St. Louis Rams. The Saints have officially listed the running back as questionable, but he could be upgraded if no problems are reported over the next day or two.

Stecker shook off the high ankle sprain he's been nursing for nearly a month to log 16 carries in Sunday's loss to the Atlanta Falcons. The running back finished with 86 yards on the day, splitting time in the backfield with veteran Antowain Smith. The two are replacing Deuce McAllister, who is out for the season with a knee injury.

Stecker continues to be slowed by a high ankle sprain, an injury originally suffered late last month. However, the running back was able to practice with the Saints on Thursday, and he plans to be available for Sunday's matchup with the Atlanta Falcons. Officially, he has been listed as questionable for the contest.

After further evaluation, the leg injury that Stecker suffered in Sunday's loss to the Minnesota Vikings has been diagnosed as a high ankle sprain. The Saints expect the ailment to keep the reserve running for at least the next two weeks. He has just one carry in three games this season.
