Competing for a starting job in the Redskins' defensive backfield this season, Bowen likely will miss a couple of days after spraining his right knee during practice on Wednesday. The veteran safety was carted off the field after suffering the injury, but was walking without any major problems later in the day. He will be evaluated on a daily basis, but expects to be ready for the start of the regular season.
