After losing his starting job in last week's loss to the Seattle Seahawks, Hawthorne now is looking for a new team, as he was released by the St. Louis Rams on Thursday. The safety, who signed a free-agent contract with the Rams in April after spending the last two seasons in Green Bay, has 25 tackles and an interception in five games this year.
