Troy Walters
1/13/2006
Due to a groin injury, Walters was forced to leave the Colts' practice on Friday, and he has been listed as questionable for Sunday's playoff matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The receiver likely will be a game-time decision this weekend.

Walters, who has been out with a hamstring problem, returned to practice on Friday and is expected to serve as the Colts' punt returner and fourth wide receiver when they face the Tennesee Titans on Sunday.

Just two days after being released by the club, Walters has re-signed with the Indianapolis Colts. The receiver sat out nearly three months with a broken arm last year, but returned late in the campaign and notched one catch for five yards in five games. He also saw action on special teams, averaging 5.7 yards on seven punt returns.

Walters has nearly recovered from the hip flexor injury that forced him to miss the Colts' last two preseason contests, and he is expected to see some time in Saturday's exhibition meeting with the Denver Broncos. The receiver currently is listed at fourth on the team's depth chart behind starters Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne, as well as No. 3 Brandon Stokley, who hopes to be fully recovered from a shoulder injury by the start of the regular season.
