Nate Webster

5/3/2006

The Broncos signed Webster to a one-year contract on Tuesday. The linebacker played the last two seasons with Cincinnati, but appeared in only one game in 2005. He suffered a knee injury in 2004 and missed most of that year.

Webster has been activated from the physically unable to perform list by the Cincinnati Bengals and should be available for Sunday's matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The linebacker missed most of the 2004 season after suffering a torn patella tendon in his right knee in Week 3, and needed a second surgery on the knee last December. An additional procedure was necessary to repair a partial tear of the same tendon that occurred during rehab.
